Hrant, I agree with your self-quote insofar as that guillemets are the best choice. The nice thing is that they are already supported everywhere. I think it doesn't make too much sense to worry about…1 -

Cap-sized currencies definitely look weird around x-high OSFs, though. I used to draw x-high currencies for OSFs, but that looked weird as well. These days, I make them at small-cap height.2 -
